Feeling so accomplished! For the first time this whole year, I sat down on Sunday and planned out all of our meals for the whole week. I even prepped a bunch of food to make putting together lunches and dinners so much easier. I wonder how many weeks in a row I can do this??

Splurging on a few things for myself that I think you guys would like too. I wanted a good travel bag for our honeymoon to New Zealand. I love bayanhipo’s shop on Etsy. The owner lives in Turkey and she makes high quality, affordable bags. I have still have a bag I bought from her in 2010 so I thought I would go back to her to get a smaller one to carry around on our trip. I got this in black and I am in love:

Eating Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups. These will seriously change your life. My mom gave me a bunch when I was home and I have been slowly eating them. Nick agrees they are pretty awesome. Unfortunately we don’t have Trader Joe’s here in Hawaii so I am trying to make my small stash last as long as possible. If you live near a Trader Joe’s, you need these in your life.

Reading The Underground Girls of Kabul: In Search of a Hidden Resistance in Afghanistan by Jenny Nordberg. It’s about girls in Afghanistan who are being raised as boys and then go back to dressing and acting as girls slightly before puberty.

Trying to figure out what Twitter is all about?! I just made an account a few weeks ago — come join me! @2yearhoneymoon

Working out! I am finally back into my workout routine after the holidays (yes it’s been that long!), travels, and being sick and I am so happy!

Drinking coffee. For Christmas, Nick got me this coffee of the month club from my favorite coffee company —Kauai Coffee. I always buy the same kind, so it’s been a lot of fun to try new roasts and blends.

Planning lots of visitors’ stay with us. We have some friends and family planning to come here in the spring and throughout summer and I could not be more excited to share this island with them! I am looking up more stuff about Hawaii and finding little places that I think Nick and I should try before people come… you know, as “research!”

What are you up to this week? What are you reading?
